Just over a year ago my close family (Mum, Dad and Brother) moved to Inverness-shire in the Scottish Highlands. It’s a beautiful part of the world and I’m so happy I have a great excuse to visit some of the most scenic places in the UK.
Last weekend I picked my Papa up from Ayrshire and headed up North for a long weekend.
At the start of the summer my Dad bought a new sports car and I couldn’t wait for him to take me out for a spin. The weather wasn’t great so we headed over to the West coast in the hope of finding some sunshine. We failed. We did find some very atmospheric mist and some fantastic views.
We drove to Gairloch, stopped for lunch in Poolewe and looped round to Corrieshalloch Gorge.
In case you were wondering about the car, it’s a Mercedes SLK and I think I might want one.
