Having a baby is expensive so I’ve put together this short guide on the best free baby samples available in the UK in 2022 and how to claim them.
How to Get Free Baby Samples UK
The apps Emma’s Diary and Bounty both allow you to claim free baby sample packs.
Emma’s Diary lets you claim 3 of each of their packs including a Mum to Be pack and Bump to Baby pack full of free samples and money off vouchers. These packs can be collected from Argos or Boots. All you need to do is sign up, navigate to ‘My Club’ within the app and select ‘My Free Packs’. You then press ‘Download Voucher’ for the pack you’re collecting at the till in Argos or Boots and show it to the retail assistant when claiming your freebies.
You’ll also be able to collect an Emma’s Diary Labour Information pack from your midwife or GP when you’re at least 34 weeks pregnant and a New Family pack from Argos or Boots once your baby is born.
Here’s what I got in my Emma’s Diary Mum to Be and Bump to Baby packs:
Bounty works in a very similar way to Emma’s Diary but you can only collect 1 of each pack. The Mum to Be pack can be collected from Tesco, ASDA or Boots. To claim your pack simply sign up, navigate to ‘Free Stuff’ within the app and select the pack you’d like to claim. You can then download the voucher and show it to the retail assistant at the till.
You’ll also be able to claim a Pregnancy Information Folder at your antenatal appointment and a Newborn Pack in the maternity ward at your hospital.
Here’s what I received in my Bounty Mum to Be pack:

Your Baby Club give away up to 50 baby boxes every day. To be in with a chance of winning your free baby box sign up on their website and complete a few offers. There are plenty of free offers to do including signing up for further freebies and competitions to win baby products.
To be in with the best chance of winning make sure you enter every day. This can be done with one click and you’ll get an email informing you if you’ve won or not. This acts as a handy reminder to enter again.
It took me a couple of months to win but I eventually got my free baby box which included:

- A foaming cleansing bar (for Mum/Dad)
- A Babytown On the Move book
- Belo and Me Wardrobe Dividers
The box is delivered to your door for free and there is no subscription. Unfortunately this offer excludes Northern Ireland.

Aldi are currently offering free nappy vouchers through the website Netmums. Each voucher entitles you to a free full-size pack of Mamia Size 1 nappies. Simply fill in this form on the Netmums website and you’ll receive your voucher in the post. Mine arrived very quickly and was valid for 6 months. You can then take the voucher to your local Aldi store to redeem.
How to Get Free Full Sized Baby Products UK
The Boots Parenting Club is another great way to stock up on baby freebies. If you have a Boots Advantage Card simply sign up and Parenting Club offers will be loaded to your card. At the time of writing this I can claim a free Mam bottle and soother and full-size Aveeno Baby Hair and Body Wash when purchasing another baby product. You’ll also be able to claim 8 advantage points per £1 spent on baby products and other free gifts at key stages of your baby’s development.
Amazon have a Baby Wishlist feature which allows you to claim a free welcome gift. To claim your free gift you need to create a Baby Wishlist, add one of the welcome gifts to your list, add at least £20 worth of eligible Amazon baby products to your Baby Wishlist, add these and your chosen welcome git to your shopping basket and use the code ‘GIFT21’ at checkout. For me the available options are:
- A Philips Avent Snuggle Cuddly Toy with Dummy & Childs Farm Baby Bathtime Sample Pack
- A Tommee Tippee Twist and Click Advanced Nappy Bin & Childs Farm Baby Bathtime Sample Pack
- A MAM Newborn Baby Box
