If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I set myself monthly goals and share the results. It helps me stay accountable and gives me more motivation to achieve my goals. One of these is usually to make a little bit of extra money online. In October my income goal was to make £100 and I wasn’t far off earning a total of £81. Here’s how I did it:
Surveys
LifePoints – £15.00
LifePoints has become my favourite survey site. I do the surveys on my laptop while watching TV and in October I was able to cash out three times. I chose two £5 Amazon vouchers and £5 in cash via PayPal.
Streetbees – £2.55
Referral code – 7946AT
I haven’t been getting as many high value stories on Steetbees recently. A lot of the surveys seem to be paying £0.20 or £0.30 and I’ve only been doing the higher value surveys meaning my total was low this month.
GfK – £3.00
I won three £1 Amazon voucher’s when taking part in GfK MediaView surveys. You earn points by completing daily surveys on TV and radio usage which give you entries into their weekly prize draws.
Total – £20.55

Receipt Scanning
Shoppix – £5.00
Shoppix allows you to earn tokens for scanning receipts, completing surveys and rating your experiences of retailers you’ve shopped with. You also earn scratchcards and win additional points.
Storewards – £2.00
Referral code – s394z – Get 250 extra coins
Storewards is a new receipt scanning app that has replaced Receipt Hog. You earn coins which can be exchanged for gift codes and the cash out level is low at just £2.
Total – £7.00

Free Spins
Coral – £3.82
Coral still doing their The Rewards Grabber promotion and I’ve been continuing to play every day. You use the grabber to select a symbol and find out if you’ve won free spins on their casino games.
Total – £3.82

If you have any issues around gambling it may be best to avoid these types of promotions.
Second Hand Selling
eBay – £29.63
I’m still in the process of decluttering and sold a piece of workout equipment that I never use, a book and a bit of tech.
Facebook Marketplace – £20.00
I decided to sell a couple of weight plates as I already have two 10kg plates and can’t see myself lifting 40kg at home.
Total – £49.63
