It may feel like your food bills are creeping up but did you know there’s a way to get some everyday products for free? Shopmium* could save you a small fortune and help you balance the budget.
What is Shopmium?
Shopmium is an app that allows you to get up to 100% cashback on products from big name brands. This means you can get some items completely free!
How does Shopmium work?
The Shopmium app is available on iPhone and Android. Simply download it and sign up to browse all the cashback offers available. You can toggle between in-store and online offers and filter by your supermarket of choice.
When you see a product you’re interested in simply click on it to find out more. The product page will tell you the offer (how much cashback is available), how long it’s available for, where it’s available and the product specifics. It’s important to pay attention to the size and flavour of the product as you’ll need to make sure this is the exact item you purchase. You’ll also be able to read reviews of the product from other users.
If you like the product you can click the heart icon and add it to your selection. This makes it easy to find later as it will appear on the ‘My selection’ section of the app. There’s also a map on the product page that can be used to find a shop where the product has been located in-store by other Shopmium users. This should help avoid any fruitless trips!
Once you’ve selected the products you’d like to buy you purchase them as usual. Just make sure you keep hold of the receipt!
When you get home you can click the central piggybank icon and select ‘Request my cashback’. You’ll then be prompted to take a photo of your receipt and scan the barcode on your product. That’s it! Remember to keep your receipt until your cashback has been approved, just in case there are any issues.
How do you receive cashback from Shopmium?
You can choose to be paid by PayPal or bank transfer. Once your cashback has been validated Shopmium will automatically send your payment. It should reach your PayPal account within 24 hours or your bank account within 72 hours.
What kind of products can you get for free with Shopmium?
You can get a wide variety of products for free using Shopmium*. The products on offer change regularly so there’s always something new to try. So far I have received 100% cashback for Arla yoghurts, McVitie’s V.I.B biscuits, Peperami Chicken Bites and Oykos yoghurts.
Does Shopmium have a referral scheme?
